WHY YOU SHOULD GO WITH SOLEXX
Superior Light Diffusion
Solexx is white for a reason -- it produces an evenly diffused light which is proven to accelerate plant growth by 30%. The light glows evenly reaching into every corner of the greenhouse which produces less shadows. More light for photosynthesis means more robust plant growth.
Undeniable Durability
Solexx offers a 10 year warranty with an even longer life expectancy. It withstands snow, wind, and hail and won't fade or yellow over time. Best of all it requires very little maintenance and looks great after many years of use.
Most Economical to Heat
Solexx provides superior insulation to hold in the warmth and keep your heating costs low. Plants thrive while customers save on energy costs. Solexx has one of the highest R factors, 2.1R on the market, so it holds the heat better than the competition saving you hundreds or thousands of dollars over other greenhouse coverings. Solexx pays for itself faster than other greenhouse coverings.
"I LOVE MY SOLEXX GREENHOUSE. Two green thumbs up!" Patricia Kelso, WA
"We use our Solexx Greenhouse year around. I was really amazed that anything lived through the past winter. It was the coldest and snowiest winter in 25 years -- temperatures were below zero. With only a small ceramic heater, I was able to keep the temperature around 42 degrees." C. Huston, York, PA
"The Solexx panels I have purchased make the greenhouse much easier to heat than when it was covered with plastic sheeting. The panels are easy to work with and very rugged. They transmit high-quality light that the plants really thrive in. The fig bush and grape vine are two years old. Last year, we had about 20 figs. I had never eaten a fresh fig before. I trained the Himrod grape vine into three main branches. The south-branch is over 17' long! I first noticed the flowers in March. There are almost 50 clusters of grapes this season." William Moody, Montana
"I have suffered from Seasonally Affected Depression for as long as I can remember. Every January, I actually used to start canceling appointments, hurrying home from work at night, making plans to hole up at home every evening and weekend all winter long to ride out the darkness until the spring came. I always felt invigorated after working for hours in the greenhouse. More than once, my husband had to ask me just when I planned to come back in the house? (Answer: "In a minute, honey, I just have to get three other trays planted.)" Jan B, Salem, OR
"We moved this January and I purchased our second greenhouse, the Garden Oasis, from you. I did 90% of the construction myself. I had expected that the first greenhouse would last 6-8 years before ultraviolet from the sun deteriorated it but it appeared as good as the day I bought it - 12 years later. I expect the new one to do as well." G. B. Ferndale, WA
What makes Solexx Greenhouses different than others? Our specially formulated Solexx greenhouse panels are a polyethylene blend and not polycarbonate. We manufacture the material with a special UV formulation for longevity with a 10 yr warranty. (Buyer Beware: There are some copycat greenhouse plastic that have no warranty or a very short warranty. Always check the warranty period.) The covering is insulated to cut down heating and cooling costs, but most importantly, the translucent quality of the plastic provides outstanding light diffusion in the greenhouse. University tests have shown that plants growth is accelerated by 30% under diffused light. Additionally, Solexx is one of the highest insulated greenhouse materials available, saving you money in heating costs.
Solexx greenhouses are built strong and stand against high winds. Our composite frame (the same material used to make bridges) is tough and durable. As long as the greenhouse is firmly anchored, you should have no problems. The combination of a solid frame and flexible paneling works very well in adverse conditions. Many of our customers live on the east coast and frequently experience winds of 70 mph. Anchors kits are available along with other helpful accessories.
